WINERIES

Front Range wineries offer a wonderful experience of tasting and touring with a diverse selection of wines. Our local vintners are known for producing a wide variety of premium wines, from rich chardonnays to robust merlots and crisp rieslings ... even a few made from Colorado cherries, peaches, plums and honey. Sit back, relax and take a chauffeured tasting journey. Limo tours are $75 an hour, accommodating eight people comfortably (while 10 is still doable). Need to fit a few more? Our transit van or party bus can widen your group out to 11 or more.

-Redstone Meadery

David Myers, known as ‘Chairman of the Mead’ and founder of Redstone Meadery, is a romantic and wants to see mead once again enjoying the glory days of yesteryear. He started the Boulder, Colorado company with the ‘natural philosophy’ that he could produce the highest quality honey wine on the market. Because of this ‘philosophy of mead,’ Redstone does not cork (to avoid oxidation) but instead uses swing top bottles. This ensures the mead will not breathe while cellaring plus offers a much longer shelf life once the bottle has been opened.

-Book Cliff Vineyards

This winery is located near Boulder in the "Vineland’s," east of Palisade, where grapes were grown at the turn of the century. The vineyard was planted in 1996 and the winery opened in 1999. Most of the Book Cliff wines are aged in French oak barrels. The selection of wines is based on what is grown in the vineyard. They are known for their award winning Ensemble (a bordeaux varietal blend) and popular viognier, but they also produce chardonnay, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and a desert wine made from black muscat grapes.

-Snowy Peaks

Located in beautiful downtown Estes Park, Snowy Peaks features over 30 different Colorado boutique wines for sampling and sale, including award-winning wines made right in Estes Park. You can enjoy a tasting flight or a glass of wine in a low-key, family-friendly atmosphere. They carry locally-made artisan cheeses, crackers, sauces and other gourmet foods to compliment your wine selection. Enjoy these hand-crafted delicacies on a picnic in Rocky Mountain National Park, or sit back and relax with a glass of wine in our dining area or patio. Snowy Peaks is a small, family owned and operated winery using 100% Colorado-grown grapes from the Grand Valley and West Elks AVA’s.

-River Garden Winery

Located in historic Fort Lupton, River Garden Winery began in 2005 when Bob and Mary Stahl planted their first vines as an experiment to test growing grapes in Eastern Colorado.  Hardy varieties were planted and their ability to withstand the cold winters was put to the test. The vines are produced quality grapes which they now use to make their unique estate wines. A new tasting room was completed in 2014, providing a comfortable space for sampling wines and hosting private events with views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. All the wines are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure each one is truly unique. River Garden produces a wide variety of wines, including fruit, estate, and traditional old world. Whether you prefer reds, whites, sweet or dry, you will find something to please your palate.
